If you come here to figure out how to increase to 4k in Google TV's Netflix, even though you already have Netflix premium plan, go to settings, check your display resolution, set resolution to 4k60 or whatever your 4k TV support . Sometimes rebooting the TV and the Google dongle will fix it. 4k shows appears after restarted the google TV. Setting, system, restart. Also make sure you plug in the HDMI eARC or ARC port on your TV.

this doesnt fix the issue.... most times you can force side load the app and run it regardless of compatibility
